Resetting my zoo with the new time machine feature really hurt deep down, I’d been playing it for literally years on and off, I had every habitat possible maxed and had 37 diamond trophies. It doesn’t have pushy ads, just ads you can choose to watch for more tries at rescuing animals. Disco Zoo is the perfect combination of puzzle, idle, and management game rolled into one. I randomly went into my old games folder on my phone yesterday, come to find out that one of my FAVORITE games from over many years was updated. That’s always been awesome about this game.Īnyway, love this game and I’m happy to give it 5 stars. I sincerely appreciate that the ads aren’t forced though. Please stay on top of this, don’t give money to ad companies that are gonna put ads on your platform that drive your demographic away. They’re much more relevant to the demographic that would be playing this and they don’t make me uncomfortable with rampant sexism like the older “Game of Sultans” ads used to do. Not only that but the ads you have to watch for extra lives are so much better now. Hope you guys add more to this in the future, but for now I’m very excited to see what the other timeless animals will be. The art style is super cute too, and the variety of animals is awesome. It reminds me of those little capsules that you’d put in water and a little surprise sponge animal would pop out. I’m always so excited to see what the new animal is going to be. I just did my third time rewind and I think it’s such a cool thing to keep the game going. Whether or not this game is to thank for that journey is not what I’m proposing, but rather the memories and transition it symbolizes in myself. Just like Disco Zoo reminded me of my journey from the beginning of middle school to the end of high school, from a pre-teen to an adult. None of my progress was saved but I’m grateful to play through the game again from the beginning. After reminiscing on what has been the past 7 years of my life, I finally start to play. I remember the events I listed above like a rush of color, and hit download. Boom, a wave of nostalgia hits me when I see Disco Zoo recommended to me. The night after, I get bored so I go on the App Store and search in the games category. I’ve just graduated high school and am heading to college in the fall. I don’t remember how much more of Disco Zoo I played after that, but I certainly do remember at least getting excited finding my first Sasquatch. School was out for the summer and we were headed to the fair. I remember distinctly the morning after graduation, logging into Disco Zoo to wake up my animals. Disco Zoo was the first game I ever played on it. My present was a new iPhone 5c in the blue variant. 7 years ago, I graduated elementary school.
